RawNews1st – A Tulsa woman is in jail in Rogers County, accused of running from Chelsea Police and endangering others.
The arrest report for Lorlei Sontag says she blew past a Chelsea officer doing 89 and when the officer tried to pull over Sontag, she sped up, going up to 111 mph.
It says she was being reckless, did several u-turns and nearly crashed into other drivers.
It says Claremore Police and Rogers County deputies threw out stop strips that hit all four of her tires, but, she kept going so they did a maneuver to force her to stop.
They say she still had the car in drive and her foot on the gas, when they approached the vehicle to remove her.
They say she kept talking about looking for her dog and smelled heavily of alcohol plus had an open container of vodka in the vehicle and paraphernalia associated with marijuana.
She was arrested for speeding, open container, running from police, DUI, driving without a license, injury to property and having no insurance.
Records show she has the following convictions in Tulsa County:
2016: misdemeanor DUI
2015: attempted escape, obstruction, parapherna kit lia and public intoxication.
2014: having a gun as a felon
For those 3 cases, she got a 2 year suspended sentence.
2011: cocaine: 4 years in prison
2010: failure to register as a sex offender
2010: failure to register as a sex offender
For those 2 cases, she got a 7 year suspended sentence.
1998: sexual battery and resisting arrest; 3 years in prison
1988: arson; 2 years in prison
