A man currently on a suspended sentence in 2 separate cases, has been arrested again.
This time, he’s accused of human trafficking and having a gun as a felony.
TPD’s Human trafficking/Vice Unit arrested Guadalupe Hernandez-Anaya this week, who’s accused of trafficking a woman by forcing her into prostitution.
The arrest report says an undercover officer made an appointment through a commercial sex ad and when the woman showed up for that appointment, she revealed she was driven there by Hernandez-Anaya, who had a gun, who planned to rob the man she was there to meet.
She told the officer, Hernandez-Anaya controlled her with violence, beat her when she tried to leave and threatened to throw her out on the streets if she didn’t do as he said and she had no income and would be homeless.
Records show:
He had a youthful offender case in 2015 when he was accused of shooting someone.
A month later, he had a second youthful offender case of having a gun during a felony and selling drugs and was sentenced as an adult in 2016 to 6 years in prison.
May 2023: he was convicted of endangering others while running from police and given a 5 year suspended sentence.
May 2023: he was also convicted of 2 misdemeanor drug counts and given a 1 year suspended sentence.
