Here’s an update to a story I told you about in August.
Steve Cruz had been charged with 2 counts of rape by instrumentation but pleaded guilty today to reduced charges of sexual battery.
He received a 5 year suspended sentence and was released from jail.
The affidavit had said Cruz had been accused of sexually assaulting two sisters between April and July of 2020.
It said he was their boss at work and they were all roommates.
It said one sister said it happened after she smoked marijuana and combined with her medications, made her feel, “out of it.”
It said the other sister said it happened while she had seizures and couldn’t speak or move.
This is now a conviction.
