A Creek County jury found Stephanie Denton and Shawn Deatherage guilty last week of sex abuse of a child and child neglect.
The jury recommended life plus 436 years in prison.
They were charged with locking an 11 year old boy in a closet, starving him and making him go the bathroom in a soda bottle.
He had been burned with cigarettes, dragged across the carpet and was covered in bruises when he escaped and was found hiding behind a dumpster.
He was so thin, police say you could see his heart beating in his chest and his bones were visible through his skin.
Police say his mother told police, the wounds were self-inflicted and he was skinny, because everyone in the family was skinny.
These are now convictions.
