This is the first look at where the pursuit ended following a Spartanburg County deputy being shot off Chaffee Road near I-26 this afternoon. This scene is off Anderson Mill Road outside the Keurig Dr. Pepper Plant.
The Sheriff’s Office hasn’t released any update on the deputy’s condition. The deputy was rushed to Spartanburg Regional.
No update has been released on the suspect.
SLED is on scene investigating along with the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office.
We are awaiting a news conference where we expect to learn more about what led up to this shooting.
