SpaceX: Whistleblowers claim widespread sexual harassment
Five ex-employees have alleged sexual harassment was ignored at SpaceX, in a hostile work environment unresponsive to women – two separate reports claim.
“I reported each incident of sexual harassment I experienced to HR, and nothing was done,” one whistleblower wrote.
It was further stated that new SpaceX interns “receive training on how to better report their harassment.” But the former employee says the harassers “have still not been held to account.”
SpaceX has not issued a public statement on the allegations. A company-wide email sent by Gwynne Shotwell, president and COO of SpaceX, reminded employees harassment will not be tolerated.
