An extent 5.5 tremor shook the southern Turkish region of Adana, striking just shy of a half year after the staggering shudders that killed in excess of 50,000 individuals in Turkey and Syria.
The Kandilli seismic tremor checking focus in Istanbul said the shake happened at 8am (05:44 GMT) on Tuesday.
Its focal point was in the locale of Kozan, around 64km (40 miles) from the city of Adana and situated close to the Syrian line.
The European Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) said the earthquake was at a depth of 12km (7.46 miles).
No injuries or damage have been reported so far.
