Someone impersonating an officer pulled a car over in South Carolina
The police chief in Fountain Inn, South Carolina, is warning residents about a fake officer in the community.
Chief Michael Hamilton said over the weekend, someone impersonating an officer pulled over a car.
Hamilton said that during a traffic stop by legitimate law enforcement officers, drivers will see multiple blue and white lights flashing in a pattern, as well as hear a loud audible siren.
If you are suspicious of a traffic stop, Hamilton says to contact the Fountain Inn Police via 911 or the non-emergency line.
