Confirmed that at least one, possibly three different people have been shot during what is still an active shooter situation.
The shooter has barricaded himself inside a home in Old Allen which has resulted in a HOSTAGE SITUATION involving two other individuals, possible a spouse and child.
Not many details have been confirmed at this time, but troopers with Kentucky State Police Post 9 in Pikeville have characterized the situation as “very active” and are strongly advising people to steer clear of the area.
Right now multiple authorities are investigating an active situation in the town of Allen in Floyd County they strongly advise people to steer clear of the area.
