21-year-old singer Olivia Rodrigo is handing out free boxes of Plan B at her concerts during her “GUTS” world tour.
Concertgoers who attended her March 12 show in St. Louis, Mo., were invited to snag a Guts-branded package that included two boxes of Julie — an emergency contraceptive that can prevent pregnancy when taken within 72 hours of unprotected sex — along with information on how to access abortion care resources in the state.
A card included with the package read, “Funding abortion? It’s a good idea right?” and provided a QR code for fans to donate to the state’s abortion fund.
The info, Plan B pills, and condoms were available at booths hosted by the Missouri Abortion Fund and Text Right By You, a youth-focused hotline providing reproductive rights resources.
Rodrigo’s advocacy comes as 21 states, Missouri included, have taken steps to outright ban or severely restrict abortion access.
