Shots were fired at Chicago police officers in the Back of the Yards neighborhood on Sunday night.
Around 11 p.m., three officers were parked in an unmarked vehicle in the 4600 block of South Damen Avenue when someone began shooting in their direction, according to police.
According to police, a bullet pierced the vehicle’s front windshield and became lodged in the rear passenger door.
According to CPD, none of the officers were injured, and they did not return fire.
As Area One detectives conduct their investigation, no one is in custody.
