On February 24, 2022, at 6:17 pm, officers with the Fayetteville Police Department responded to a reported shooting along the 4600 block of Fen Court.
Officers and medical personnel arrived on the scene and located two adult males who had been shot. Both were transported to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries. One of the males has since succumbed to his injuries. Their identities are being withheld pending next of kin notification.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting are under investigation by members of the Fayetteville Police Department’s Homicide Unit.
