Several people were injured after a driver plowed into the Oliver’s Market grocery store: Santa Rosa

Several people were injured after a driver plowed into the Oliver’s Market grocery store at the Montecito Center in Santa Rosa just before noon on Friday, authorities said.

Responding officers found a dark red Hyundai Tucson SUV that had struck the front of the building and ended up near the checkout counters, leaving several people with minor to moderate injuries.

The driver, identified only as an adult female, remained at the scene and is cooperating, police said:

In a message to customers, Oliver’s Market said the location would be closed for the remainder of the day. The grocery store has three other locations in Sonoma County.
