CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Virginia – Several students are hurt after they were rescued from their wrecked Chesterfield County school bus after it was run off the road and flipped over on its side in the bottom of a ditch Thursday evening.
Several local outlets are reporting that the Chesterfield Fire Department confirmed that several students are being transported to the hospital with injuries.
The fire department estimated anywhere from three to six students could be transported, “I believe it is going to be a couple,” a spokesperson said.
The department could not confirm the ages of the children, or if the bus was traveling from an elementary, middle, or high school.
