The attempted murder charge is tied to Natasha LaTour. LaTour, the only known survivor, was shot by the accused serial killer and spoke to us back in October outside Brownlee’s first court appearance. At that time, her attempted murder wasn’t one of the charges, but that changed this week.
What we know now: it’s believed LeTour’s attempted murder was Brownlee’s second shooting that morning. Harmon’s killing happened in Oakland in the early morning of April 16, 2021.
Below is a timeline of Brownlee’s suspected killings:
- The first known victim was Vasquez on April 10, 2021, in Oakland
- The second victim was Harmon, as previously stated on April 16, 2021, also in Oakland
- The same early morning was LeTour’s attempted murder in Stockton
- The next killing happened in July 2022. The victim was Yaw, who was shot in Stockton
- The fifth victim was Debudey, Jr., who was killed on August 11, 2022, in Stockton
- More than a week later, on August 30, in Stockton, Jonathan Hernandez Rodriguez was killed
- The seventh victim, Juan Cruz was killed on September 21 in Stockton
- The last known victim was on September 27. Lawrence Lopez was shot and killed in Stockton
Lopez’s brother said in October that he didn’t want to look at the man charged in his brother’s murder.
