Seguin Police Department was dispatched to a death investigation at the boat ramp at 2800 IH 10 W.
Upon arrival officers found a Hispanic male who sustained multiple injuries to his head.
The male, identified to be Santos Betulio Romero Hernandez (51, Seguin), was pronounced deceased at the scene by Justice of the Peace Judge Sachtleben.
A preliminary investigation conducted by the Criminal Investigations Division revealed that Hernandez suffered blunt force trauma to his head.
Evidence collected at the scene suggests that another party was involved in the incident. An autopsy of the male was ordered to determine cause of death.
As an investigation continues by the Criminal Investigations Division, the Seguin Police Department asks that if anyone has any further information regarding the incident or was in the area of the boat ramp the night of June 10, 2022/morning of June 11, 2022 to please call Det.
