Security officer shot during armed robbery at Buckland Hills Mall, Police say

RawNews1st – A security guard was shot during a reported armed robbery at Buckland Hills Mall in Manchester, police sources told reports.
The shooting happened Friday afternoon, and the victim was taken to Hartford Hospital with injuries. Their condition isn’t known at this time.
Additional details were not immediately available.
A police vehicle blocked the mall entrance near the BJ’s and LongHorn steakhouse Friday afternoon. Police and mall security at the scene did not provide any information about the incident.
State police said troopers were dispatched to the area, but were not assisting Manchester police with the investigation.
The mall sits off Buckland Hills Drive about two and half-miles north of downtown Manchester.
