Scammers are using glue to block the card reader: California ATM
RawNews1st – There is a new type of ATM fraud in Northern California where scammers are using glue to block the card reader and forcing victims to use the “tap feature.”
This has resulted in a drain on bank accounts, with multiple victims coming forward to report similar incidents.
One ATM in San Francisco’s Mission District was targeted.
Always remember to sign out of your account before leaving the ATM.
