If you see a large presence of officers near Five Points Park in the City of Sarasota, Government, we are investigating a stabbing incident that happened on Central Avenue.
The scene is contained.
A suspect has been detained. Both the suspect and the victim are being taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
At this time, it’s unknown why the stabbing happened.
The incident remains under investigation. Anyone with any information is asked to call the Sarasota Police Department at 941-263-6773.
