Santa Fe, NM – On November 15, 2022, the victim, identified as Armando Torres Marquez (32 years-old) from Santa Fe, succumbed to injuries he sustained in the shooting on Camino Capitan on November 14, 2022.
Santa Fe Police Department detectives are investigating this case as a homicide and are currently working active leads.
Background: On November 14, 2022, at approximately 9:40 p.m., the Santa Fe Police Department received calls reporting a man down in the roadway near the area of Camino Capitan and Galisteo Road.
As police officers were arriving at the scene, a 32-year-old male victim was located in the roadway of the 2300 block Camino Capitan.

The victim sustained at least one gunshot wound and was transported to a local hospital. The victim is considered to be in critical condition.
Detectives responded to the scene and are working active leads at this time.
