Police say after years and years of numerous victims telling family members they were being molested by the same man and years of DHS referrals saying the same thing, a Skiatook man has now been arrested and charged.
The affidavit for Sammy Fridenberg says victims told Tulsa Police he molested them for years and would threatened them if they ever told, saying, they would end up buried by an oil well where other girls were buried and no one would find them or miss them and saying, they’d end up in the trash pit, like others had or in a hole in the back pasture.
It says he held a gun to the head of one victim, saying, “you don’t want to end up like the others.”
It says in December, a victim who’s now an adult, came forward, saying Fridenberg had raped her in 2021 and had sexually assaulted her repeatedly from 2004 to 2015, from the time she was 7 until she was 18..
It says she and another child reported the abuse to Osage County in 2014, but, no charges were filed.
It says police have learned several of the other victims lied during that investigation, either out of fear, or being promised gifts.
It says police have now interviewed five others, who all said Fridenberg repeatedly sexually abused him, starting at very young ages.
The affidavit says several family members were told by multiple victims they had been molested by Fridenberg and multiple DHS reports from 1999 to 2024 listed Fridenberg has a sex abuser of children.
He’s charged with 3 counts of lewd molestation and soliciting a minor for indecent exposure in Tulsa County.
No charges are filed yet in Osage County.
