Russia’s Central Bank Proposes Crypto & Mining BAN
The proposed crackdown includes:
▪️Banning issuance, circulation, exchange, sale, purchase or mining of cryptocurrencies in Russia
▪️Blocking banks from investing money in cryptocurrencies
▪️Eventual legal liabilities for Russians, Russian legal entities over crypto purchases
The head of the Central Bank Department claims it’s “too early” to impose laws against mining and other violations, and that fines are a priority. (Ria Novosti)
