Russian Delegation in Geneva: West losing art of deal making – tell us not to make ultimatums while giving Russia ultimatums
Here’s what else has been summed up by the Russian side who left the talks a little earlier:
Talks are not without hope. Basis there for reaching agreements with the US and NATO. Moscow does not intend to attack Ukraine
Russia will judge further steps on security guarantees after NATO and OSCE talks on Jan 12 & 13
NATO should abandon the “territory development” of the states that entered the alliance after 1997. The US disagreed the organization should be limited in accepting new states
Moscow and Washington discussed mutual limitations on military drills in Europe. The US is also open to discuss deployment of ballistic missiles in the region
Russia-NATO meeting not happened since 2019, because we can’t find a mutual agenda to discuss. Need to assess if prospect for future steps
