At approximately 4:47 a.m., Midland Police were dispatched to the Hometowne Suites located at 1003 S. Midkiff in reference to a disturbance.
Upon arrival, officers found a female identified as Mariela Galindo Lozano, 28 yoa deceased with multiple stab wounds to her body.
It was discovered that the suspect involved was Raven Robert Rodriguez who gained entry into Lozano’s motel room by kicking in the door where a physical disturbance ensued.

Lozano was able to get away; however, Rodriguez followed and caught up to her and stabbed the female victim multiple times, and fled the scene.
Attached is a surveillance photo of what the suspect was last seen wearing.
A warrant has been issued for Raven Robert Rodriguez for Capital Murder.
