Robbery & Assault Investigation Underway
The Birmingham Police Department reports detectives are conducting a robbery investigation.
Detectives requests assistance from the public in identifying a suspect in the attached photo.
On Sunday, June 12, 2022, a community member was robbed of personal items while in the 7000 Block of 1st Avenue South.
The victim was shot during the robbery and had to be hospitalized.
We have provided a photo of the suspect.
If there is anyone with information on the identity of the suspect, we ask that they contact BPD Robbery Detectives at 205-254-1753 or remain anonymous by contacting Crime Stoppers at 205-254-7777.
