Tulsa Crime Stoppers tip leads to gun bust
We received a tip through Crimestoppers about the suspect Richard Green.
The tipster told us that green was a convicted felon and had numerous firearms in his possession.
Our Special Investigations Division started to investigate Green and found that he had threatened several people with a firearm at his business.
SID obtained a search warrant for Green’s residence and found a large cache of weapons, 126 to be exact.
Since we always get this question, we thought we answer it ahead of time.The firearms are not available for purchase, they are all being held for evidence in the case.
If the suspect is convicted and the weapons are no longer needed a court order will be issued to destroy the firearms.
There are some really nice firearms here and many of us are also upset at the thought of them being turned into a pile of molten metal.
