United States v. McGonigal
(DC Case)
Charles McGonigal, the former Special Agent in Charge of the FBI’s Counterintelligence Division in the New York Field Office, has been sentenced to 28 months incarceration for concealing payments from an Albanian intelligence official.
The sentence is to be served CONSECUTIVELY with the 50 months sentence in the SDNY case.
That’s 6.5 years total. Boom.
He deserves more, for sure, but we have good reason to believe he is cooperating with other investigations and we probably haven’t heard the last word about McGonigal or about his role in SpyGate and other criminal matters.
