Approval13 Rep Lawmakers ALARMED at Blacklisted Huawei Chip Approval13 Energy and Commerce Committee Republicans have questioned the U.S. decision to allow Huawei to purchase chips for its auto business – despite the Chinese company being blacklisted.

The group asked U.S. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg if he was concerned “Huawei will look for a foothold in developing components for future vehicles in order to gather information on Americans and our transportation infrastructure.”
