RawNews1st – The Queens District RCMP is investigating an armed robbery that occurred at a business in Hunter River, PEI, and is hoping information from the public can help identify the individual responsible.
At approximately 5:30 a.m., a man armed with a knife entered the Irving Oil gas station located on Route 2 and demanded money from an employee. The man left with an undisclosed amount of money and nobody was injured during the incident.
The RCMP released video surveillance images of the suspect and is hoping despite the quality of the image, information from the public may help identify him or provide additional information to help the investigation.
The individual is described as a man, approximately five feet 10 inches (178 centimetres) tall with a slim build. At the time, he was wearing a dark-colored hooded sweater.
