Quebec Faces Unprecedented Staffing Shortages
Canada is facing a labor shortage with approximately 912,000 vacant positions, nearly twice as many as in 2019.
Quebec is the hardest hit province with a whopping 64% of small and medium-sized businesses struggling to hire.
The Canadian federal government has not been helping to ease hiring shortages, accused of pursuing an aggressive stance on vaccine mandates for private businesses.
