Qatar rules out normalization with Israel while ‘Palestinian occupation’ continues

“So as long as there is no prospect for ending that occupation and having a fair and just solution, I don’t see Qatar taking such a step for normalization,” FM Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani said Wednesday.

The minister also said Israel’s behavior does not indicate its willingness to reach a peaceful resolution, i24 News reported.

Qatar has played a pivotal role in delivering aid to Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, including coordinating a recent ceasefire that ended an 11-day Israeli offensive in May that killed 260 Palestinians — including 66 children.
