The state Department of Health has suspended the license of a private ambulance company in New Jersey following a fatal ambulance crash last year.
The patient, who was not properly restrained, died in the accident. The company is currently under investigation, and state officials have disclosed that none of the personnel on the ambulance, including the driver, had the required training or certification.
Additionally, the driver was found to have been operating the vehicle with a suspended driver’s license.
