Possible fetus or infant discovered in a freezer inside a South Boston apartment

The Boston Police Department is continuing to investigate after a possible fetus or infant was discovered in a freezer inside a South Boston apartment, according to the Suffolk District Attorney’s office.
Upon arrival, officers located what appears to be a human fetus or infant inside a freezer.
A resident who lives in the building told Boston 25 that a cleaning crew discovered it the findings.
“Never would have expected something like that to happen around here,” neighbor Katie Reilly said.
Boston Police Homicide Detectives along with the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office are investigating.
