New York – Nearly two years after the rapper was laid to rest following his untimely death, the Brooklyn drill icon’s gravesite at Green-Wood Cemetery in Brooklyn, New York was recently disturbed by vandals.
Reports note that Pop Smoke’s crypt was broken into with the marble marking stone covering cracked into pieces.
Marks on the ground around the crypt also lead investigators to believe that Pop Smoke’s casket may have been dragged out of the tomb.
Hours after being discovered, the Green-Wood Cemetery replaced the damaged cover with an unmarked marble slab and placed caution tape aroundP the gravesite.
The perpetrators have yet to be identified and it has been noted by reports that there are no cameras in the area but the NYPD is investigating the act of vandalism.Stay tuned for more details as the story develops.
