Chattanooga CPD says the teen was in a car with several other people. They were parked near the gas pumps when the suspects started shooting at them.
The driver tried to get away, but they crashed in the nearby woods.
Officers arrived to find the teenager with non-life threatening injuries. EMS transported the victim to the hospital. Nobody else in the car was hit.
Investigators say the suspects left before the area before officers arrived.
