Broken Arrow police say a 15-year-old girl is in custody, for the shooting death of 16 year old Dacari Green.
The affidavit for Ky’Leigh Shaw, aka NuNu, says the murder happened because several group believed the victim had snitched.
It says 6-7 groups got on a conference call with Green, where he proved, with documents, he did not snitch.
It says some specific members of their group, the Bloods, were not on the call and didn’t believe Green and that led to Shaw killing him and leaving his body in the street.
The affidavit says there were videos on a phone of Shaw and another person driving around playing with their guns the night of the murder.
It says there were texts from Shaw saying, “ima have to tell my lawyer who was in da car…” and “you not gone get self defense” and “i’m fuxked either way.”
And, finally, “oklahoma don’t care that i’m a kid, ima get charged as an adult.”
It says she also made statements about her dad going to make her turn herself in.
It says video from the area shows them arriving in the area of the murder in an SUV then, fleeing and the vehicle was also captured on a license plate reader.
It says a witness told police Shaw had stolen the vehicle from her grandmother and had later been grounded for doing so.
It says location data also showed Shaw’s phone was in the area of the murder at the time it happened.
BAPD thanks TPD and the U.S. Marshals Northern Oklahoma Violent Crimes Task force for their help with this case.
Police say Shaw has been charged as an adult with 1st degree murder.
The affidavit says she’s an 8th grader at Union.
