Hit and Run Motor Vehicle Crash with a Pedestrian

The Haw River Police Department is still investigating a fatal hit and run collision of a pedestrian which occurred on 02-09-2022 at approximately 10:30 in the 1000 block of Roxboro St.
The victim was identified as Bethany Counts W/F 42 years of age.
The investigation consists of the Haw River Police Department, Alamance County Sheriff’s Offices Crime Scene Investigation Unit, and Alamance County Medical Examiner’s Office at this time.
UPDATE: Police released an image of the suspect vehicle.
Haw River Police Department just got back a slightly enhanced image of the suspect vehicle from the FBI. Unforutinally, the image is still not very clear.
