Police officer killed in shooting in Ontario, Canada; 2 suspects at large.
According to the authorities, an Ontario Provincial Police officer was shot during a confrontation with an armed suspect.Â
The incident was reported at approximately 4:45 p.m. A Be-On-Look-Out alert has been sent to residents in the area of Brantford, Norfolk County, and Six Nations for the fleeing suspect.
The suspect is currently on the run.
A heavy police presence is currently in the area of Townline Road just outside the Stop and Save Gas and Variety just passed Ojibwa Road on Six Nations where the incident started.
Law enforcement agencies said the suspect fled the scene in a Black Chevy Silverado which damaged the driver’s side.
The unnamed suspect was described as a native male between the ages of 25-30-year-old.
Wearing all Black, TATTOO above the eyebrow and LEFT NECK TATTOO, and carrying Black Backpack.
