Police launched a homicide investigation after discovering a man’s body Monday night in the Back of the Yards neighborhood.
Police say the 47-year-old man was discovered unresponsive around 7:30 p.m. in the 5300 block of South Hermitage Avenue.
The man was pronounced dead on the scene. The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office has yet to identify him.
Police have not stated whether the man had any visible injuries.
No one is in custody. Area One detectives are conducting an investigation.
