Police investigate a armed robbery that happened at a beauty supply shop

Police investigating an armed robbery that occurred this morning at Sally Beauty Supply in the 4500 block of South Medford Drive.
A white male who appeared to be in his 40s wearing a black shirt, baseball cap, and blue jeans displayed a gun and threatened the clerk around 10:30 a.m.
He then left with hair trimmers, clippers, and an undisclosed amount of cash from the register.
It is unknown if he fled on foot or in a vehicle.
