Police in Chicago’s Wrightwood neighborhood are warning residents about a series of armed robberies that occurred in April and May.
In each case, the offenders approached a victim and demanded their property while armed with a firearm.
The incidents happened at the following times and locations:
On April 20, around 1:30 p.m., in the 7900 block of South Fairfield.
On April 20, around 4:40 p.m., in the 8000 block of South California.
On the 20th of April, around 5:15 p.m., in the 8100 block of South Talman.
On April 21, around 9:35 p.m., in the 3300 block of West 84th Place.
On May 9th, around 8:45 p.m., in the 7900 block of South Lawndale.
On May 10, around 8:40 p.m., in the 3700 block of West 79th Place.
The offenders were described as two to four African American males between the ages of 15 and 18. They stood 5’8″ to 6’0″ tall and weighed 135 to 150 pounds.
