Police have identified a suspect who they said stabbed two people in Homestead earlier this week

Carlos Pastor-Carrillo, 34, was arrested in connection with the attack, which occurred in the area of Northwest Eighth Street and Fourth Avenue.
Police said one victim was taken to a nearby hospital by Miami-Dade Fire Rescue, while the other was airlifted, and both were in stable condition.
Pastor-Carrillo initially fled the scene after the stabbing occurred, according to Officer Oscar Roque, a Homestead Police Department spokesman.
Jail records show Pastor-Carrillo is facing multiple charges, including attempted murder, aggravated battery, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and cocaine possession.
As of Friday morning, he was being held at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center, where his bond was listed as “to be set.”
A motive for the stabbing is unclear at this time.
The suspect fled the scene, but later, video shows how a man was handcuffed and taken into custody “without incident.”
