A hail of bullets, a gang feud and a 12 year old murder victim.
Police have arrested two people accused of shooting and killing as 12 year old boy, who was not their intended target.
The affidavit for Salathiel Fields and Alvin Chaplin says they fired 35 rounds at a house that had been rented for a party on New Year’s Day, near 14th and Utica.
12 year old Steven Bruner, Jr was sitting on the front porch and was hit in the head.
The affidavit says surveillance video, license plate reading cameras and cell phone data helped them track Fields and Chaplin to the murder scene before and after the shooting.
They say the shooting was the result of a feud between a set of the Crips and the Bloods.
