RawNews1st – The Bonifay Police Department is currently conducting an investigation into a homicide that occurred at approximately 11:45 PM last night, September 17, 2022.
The shooting victim, identified as Jimmy Junior McCullous, black male, 53 years-of-age, of Bonifay was found by a motorist in the eastbound lane of US Highway 90 near the Grocery Outlet shopping center.
McCullous suffered what appeared to be a single gunshot wound to the abdomen.
McCullous was transported by Holmes County EMS to Doctor’s Memorial Hospital, where he later died.
The Bonifay Police Department is asking that anyone with information to contact the Bonifay Police Department at 850-547-3661
Suspect could be armed and dangerous call 911 immediately.
