A deputy with Constable Mark Herman’s Office observed a stolen vehicle in the 7300 block of Louetta and initiated a traffic stop. The driver refused to stop, leading deputies on a brief pursuit.
During the pursuit, the driver drove through the front yard of a residence and lost control of the vehicle.
As patrol vehicles approached, he accelerated his speed and intentionally struck two patrol vehicles, disabling his vehicle.
The driver was apprehended and identified as Jarrod Parker, who is wanted for questioning in reference to approximately 30 burglary of motor vehicles in the area.
“Jarrod Parker was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Evading Arrest in a Motor Vehicle and and Aggravated Assault on a Peace servant. His bond and court information have not been set at this time.”
