ST LOUIS COUNTY POLICE ARREST TWO TEENS IN CONNECTION WITH DEATH ON HAZELWOOD CENTRAL CAMPUS
The St. Louis County Police Crimes Against Persons detectives are currently investigating a homicide in the 15800 block of New Halls Ferry Road which resulted in the death of an adult male.
On April 24, 2022, at approximately 6:38 AM, St. Louis County police officers responded to a call for a shooting at the Hazelwood Central High School in the 15800 block of New Halls Ferry Road.
Officers located an adult male in the parking lot suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Two teens were charged on Monday in the deadly shooting of the victim who is a cab driver.
Tywon Harris,18, and Jeremiah Allen,18, were charged with 2nd Degree Murder and Armed Criminal Action.
Investigators say that Harris and Allen were riding in Dewight Price’s cab Sunday heading to their destination but instead pulled guns and threatened to rob Price in his cab in the Hazelwood Central High School parking lot the shot and killed him.
Both are being held without bond.
The investigation is very active at this time.
