Police arrest a woman accused of hit and run and aggravated assault on a police officer.

The arrest report for Chelsey Smith says on June 15th around 6:30 pm, an officer was called to the River Spirit about an employee drunk on the job, who had already hit 2 vehicles in the parking lot, while trying to leave.

It says the officer found Smith in the parking garage and got out of his vehicle and told her to stop, but she accelerated toward him, so he pulled out his gun and pointed it at her and commanded her to stop and she did briefly, then surged forward, hitting the officer, so that one of his legs was on the hood of her car and one was still on the ground.

It says he pointed the gun at her again and told her to get out, then he turned off her vehicle and took her into custody.

It says she had 10 empty alcoholic beverage containers in the passenger side and 2 marijuana edibles.
