Broken Arrow Police arrest a man for DUI after they say he nearly hit some officers who were working a fatal crash scene Tuesday night.
The arrest report for Kevin Peck says officers had Elm blocked out, south of Kenosha around 10 PM.
It says Peck drove through the cones, around a police vehicle that had its lights on and past several officers, wearing reflective vests, who were yelling at him to stop.
It says Peck almost hit the officers before finally came to a stop and he smelled of alcohol and was unsteady on his feet.
It says he told officers he’d had “only 3 beers” that were “tallboys” at a friend’s house.
It says he did not perform well on the field sobriety tests and declined a breathalyzer test.
He was booked for 1st offense, misdemeanor DUI and misdemeanor failure to obey a lawful order (refusing to stop driving through the scene.)
This is an arrest, not a conviction.
