Police arrest a man accused of hurting a 2 year old boy, because the boy was being fussy while the man was playing an online video game.
The arrest report says DHS called police to the hospital for the child who had bruises on his face, a swollen, black eye and a cut under his eye.
It says the boy’s mother said she had left the night before to run some errands and was gone about 40 minutes and she didn’t see the injuries until the boy woke up.
It says police interviewed Christian Palmer who was at the home when the mother was out.
It says Palmer was playing the online video game when the boy woke up and “wouldn’t stop making noise” so Palmer said he threw the boy onto the bed and the boy hit his head on the corner.
It says Palmer tried to comfort the boy but Palmer was in a hurry to get back to his game.-It says Palmer admitted he never told the boy’s mother what happened.
Palmer was booked into jail for child abuse by injury.
