RawNews1st – Police arrest a man accused of helping another man pistol whip, beat and rob a man outside Night Trips bar on April 15th.
The affidavit for Kurtis Johnson says the man went outside the club with one of the suspects and a second suspect also approached.
The victim says one of them used a pistol to beat him in the face and he was also punched and kicked.
The victim says the other suspect pointed a gun and demanded the victim’s wallet and phone and the PINs to his credit cards and phone.
It says this investigation took multiple search warrants and cyber searches and eventually led to Kurtis Johnson and a man named Gregory Williams.
It says the victim was not able to pick the suspects out of a photo line-up, but, people who know the suspects, were able to identify them.
Both men have been charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon.
Records show Williams (on the right) was sent to prison in June for a separate crime and has previous convictions for robbery, being a felon with a gun and drugs.
Johnson (on the left) was arrested this week and is being held on a $250,000 bond.
